You know what pisses me off? The fact that Butterfly got bought for only 100 Yen. This is the equilivant of 66 cents. Wow nowadays you can barely buy anything for less than a dollar. The local prostitutes even rejected Pinkerton. If the prostitutes don't want him, why would you? And they just have to sleep with him once, she has to be married to him for life. LIFE is a really long time, and what exactly can happen in that lifetime? I don't understand how she can be so devoted to him, yet he treats her so bad. I guess it is true, that women do want men to treat them horribly. Because if a guy treats us well, we just think he is a "nice guy", boring, and just put them on the friend list. We are not even remotely interested in them. What is it about the bad guys that attract us so much? Is it the fact that they can hold our attention and intrigue us? Or is it that certain air of mystery oozing from their very pores? I think that women like to play this little game, because it is much more fun and interesting. We like our minds to be constantly stimulated, and we try to read the guy but to no avail.
